Approach by car: Donauufer-Highway A22 – Exit Korneuburg West – S1 – Exit Korneuburg North – Stetten – following the signage You cannot miss The "landmark" of the fossil world - the lookout tower in the form of a snail - on your trip! Plan your trip by car:
Approach by "Adventure-Train": The "Adventure-Train" goes from 1. of May to 26. of October every Saturday, Sunday and Feast Day and stops at the trainstation Stetten/Fossil World. From the trainstation to the Fossil World it takes approximately 15 minutes by foot. The direct "Adventure-Train" goes from Vienna/"Südbahnhof" (Departure: current railway schedule 8.20 am) directly to the trainstation Stetten/Fossil World (without changing trains) (Arrival: current railway schedule 9.17 am). The train also goes back to Vienna directly (Departure trainstation Stetten/Fossil World: currently railway schedule 16.50 pm; Arrival trainstation Vienna/"Südbahnhof": current railway schedule 18.37 pm). It's also possible to take the rapid transit railway from Vienna to Korneuburg and change to the "Adventure-Train" (Arrival at trainstation Korneuburg: current railway schedule 13.35 pm; Departure trainstation Stetten/Fossil World: current railway schedule 13.45 pm; Departure trainstation Stetten/Fossil World: current railway schedule 13.10 pm; Arrival trainstation Korneuburg: current railway schedule 13.20 pm).
