Fossilienwelt includes the interactive indoor Adventure Museum and the impressive indoor Oyster Hall, plus a big outdoor area with countless activities for kids to play and explore.
Many animals and plants live in our outdoor area. It is important to us to keep our park as natural as possible to ensure that animals feel at home here and rare plants have a chance to thrive. Our outdoor area is accessible for people with disabilities, with the exception of the Shell Tower and the path leading up on one side of the hill.
Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash and wear a muzzle. We kindly ask our visitors to be considerate of one another so that everyone can have a good time here at Fossilienwelt!
Important note for those suffering from allergies: due to the special climate in the Oyster Hall and the Primeval Rift, we cannot rule out the presence of mould spores there.
